The romantic observer is a dust measurement device. It lives a self-sufficient and night-active life, which shows first at sunset, when the red colouration of the sky gets visible. The sensor head is straitly directed toward the evening sky analysing the refraction of light on the basis of countless particles (aerosols) in the air. The device evaluates the romantic setting by visualising the current dust concentration in the sky graphically and thereby giving us a constant feedback on the pollution of air that effects our environment.
